This unit replaces models that have not changed for over 15 years. The filter itself arrests any noise on the DC power supply to car stereos, CBs etc better than ever. Most importantly it enables the installer to mount the unit without drilling mounting holes. You can secure this unit with either short or long cable ties. It will also saddle on a wiring loom if necessary.
